Braiding Time, Memory and Water

Spring in to support Braiding Time, Memory and Water

On April 26 & 27 Flux Projects will present Braiding Time, Memory and Water, a site-specific dance performance at Tanyard Creek Park by Sue Schroeder of Core Dance in collaboration with conceptual artist Jonathon Keats and composer Felipe Pérez Santiago.

Designed to engage water and nature as collaborators, the project will unfold in three movements alongside Tanyard Creek. With the pace of the performance determined by the rate of the water’s flow, dancers and musicians will respond to the geography and history of the site, encouraging us to reconnect with our natural environment.

Spring in to make your gift before April 20 and we’ll shower you with Flux Love + recognition on our website. Our thanks to you, special perks designed to elevate your Flux experience:

$25 – Flux swag

$50 – Special edition postcard, signed by Sue Schroeder, Artistic Director of Core Dance

$100 – Invitation to attend the final rehearsal with Anne Archer Dennington, Exec. Director of Flux Projects and Elizabeth Labbe-Webb, Exec. Director of Core Dance

$250 – 3 complimentary Morning Classes with Core Dance in Decatur (choice of Contemporary Forming or Capoiera)
